Sustainable Development Awards
The Environmental Investment Fund of Namibia and the Sustainable Development Advisory Council have joined forces to bring you Namibia’s first ever Sustainable Development Awards Programme, which intends to recognise the importance of integrating sustainability into the core of business and industry as well as the daily lives of Namibians from all walks of life.
The aim of the Sustainable Development Awards is to identify and reward institutions including individuals who have demonstrated leadership, innovation and excellence in environmentally friendly practices, while encouraging performance of best sustainability practices.
The awards, which originated in 2015 as a collaboration between the EIF and the Sustainable Development Advisory Council (SDAC), have become a biennial celebration of excellence in environmental stewardship.
The fourth (4) edition was held in 2024 under the theme “Investing in our Planet”. Read our news article on the Fourth Sustainable Development Awards here.
